What is MCS?
The Mediterranean Cannabis Summit (MCS) is the new destination where the cannabis industry comes together. Licensed operators, capital, regulators, brands, medical professionals and the community meet on the island that brought the first adult-use framework to the EU: Malta.
MCS brings an exhibition floor, a conference programme, workshops, live podcasts, product launches and performances to one sunny destination, to shape the future of cannabis.

What is the Mediterranean Cannabis Summit?
MCS is a cannabis industry summit and trade exhibition held in Malta, running on 22 and 23 October 2027 at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. The conference programme is business to business, for licensed operators, investors, regulators, medical and scientific professionals and brands. The exhibition floor is open to both trade and the public, as are the festival area and the evening programme.
When and where does MCS 2027 take place?
22 and 23 October 2027, at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC), Millennium Stand, Level 1, The National Stadium, Ta’ Qali, ATD 4000, Malta. The opening ceremony is on 21 October and the networking boat party follows on 24 October, subject to confirmation. The full arc is in the key dates on this page.
What are the key dates for MCS 2027?
October 2026: Official launch event. 21 October 2027: Opening Ceremony. 22–23 October 2027: Conference and expo. 23 October 2027: After Party and MCS Awards. 24 October 2027: Networking Boat Party. The summit itself is two days, 22 and 23 October 2027. The opening ceremony the evening before and the boat party the day after are additional dates rather than ticketed summit days, and the boat party is subject to confirmation. The date of the October 2026 launch event has not been announced.
Who can attend MCS?
MCS is open to licensed operators, investors, regulators and policymakers, medical and scientific professionals, brand builders, and the wider cannabis community. Attendees must be 18 or over. Business and standard tickets are available.
How much does a ticket cost?
Ticket prices have not been announced yet, and tickets are not on sale. MCS 2027 has seven ticket types: an expo floor ticket for both days, a 1-day ticket, a 2-day ticket, a combined workshop and 2-day ticket, VIP tickets, access to the networking events, and student tickets. Yes. A VIP ticket is planned, giving access to the Business Lounge and VIP area alongside invitation-only programming, and a reduced student rate applies with valid student identification. Neither price has been announced, and tickets are not yet on sale.
Why is the summit held in Malta?
Malta was the first European Union member state to legalise adult-use cannabis, in December 2021, and established a national regulator, the Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis (ARUC). Malta is English-speaking, well connected by air across Europe and to New York, and sits between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Can I exhibit or sponsor at MCS 2027?
Yes. Eight exhibitor stand sizes are available, with construction, print, carpet, lighting and furniture included. Sponsorship covers packages, floor areas, events, branding, the event app and the Show Passport. 2027 partners receive Founding Partner status.
Exhibit at MCSHow do I get to the venue?
The MFCC is roughly 20 minutes from Malta International Airport and 15 minutes from Valletta. There is public parking on site. By bus, route 56 runs from Valletta, 202 from Sliema and 186 from Buġibba.
